Here are the results of round 2.

• Gin & Tonic 47% vs. Hot Chocolate 53% Hot Chocolate wins.
• Innocent Smoothies 26% vs. Red Wine 74% Red Wine wins.
• White Russian 58% vs. British Ale 42% White Russian wins.
• Diet Coke 11% (pathetic) vs. Tea 89% Tea wins.

The semi-finals look like this:

• Tea vs. Hot Chocolate
• Red Wine vs. White Russian.

Voting starts on Friday 11th April with the polls closing on Friday 18th April.

Week 2 of round 1 starts today (if you have no idea what this is about then maybe you should read this post first). Due to some stuff, I’m a bit behind, haven’t sent out any reminders to the people involved so not all of the posts have been written. So voting will start tomorrow.

These proud beverages are up for some action this week:

Cold Beverage (Round 1: Monday 17th March - Sunday 23rd March)

As you can see we still need someone to champion spring water - so if you want to have a go do let me know.

So this is my effort in the Ultimate Beverage Bracket. (if you have no idea what this is about then maybe you should read this post first). I’m fighting for the honour of Mulled Wine, a delightful drink and one that I encountered, as you can hear, quite by chance. I’m up against the mighty “Tea” and the even mightier Northern Planner - but size isn’t everything and maybe I have a chance.

Anyway - you can vote for Mulled Wine, and the other Round 1 beverages here, in the Beverage Voting Booth.
