* The AdScene Interviews

Well the public has spoken and, as much as it pains me to disappoint Ben, I must return. I must admit that I’m a bit rusty; been messing about way too much with that blip.fm thingy and I was a little surprised by the result of the voting (Ben was on holiday) so I’m still “planning” what The Kaiser Edition will be. You know, the new version (I may even have a shave). I’ve asked a couple of people to help me out and I still need to sort out the bits and pieces with them - one of them is actually coming out of retirement which is very exciting (guys news coming soon, promise).
Anyway, one of the things that I would like to kick-start back into life is the AdScene interviews that I started doing for those lovely chaps over at Werbeblogger. They were fun to do and, correct me if I’m wrong, I think they went down quite well. So I’d like to start doing them again. But, who should I interview? Who would you lot like to hear locked up into a virtual room with The Kaiser?
Hello Sir Martin, look who’s back. Miss me?

Why thank you Doug. Now, over at Werbeblogger the Germans have suggested that I interview Neil French and Luke Sullivan.
What do you lot think? Who should I interview.

I think you should interview Sir Martin…

Ah, the Knight and the Kaiser.

I think I’d prefer someone that wasn’t interviewed by nearly every ad mag on the face of the earth (Neil French) or has his own book (Luke Sullivan)…but maybe I’m wrong here.
What about Anomaly’s Johnny Vulkan, Carl Johnson or Mike Byrne?

fabulous! i’d like to suggest interviewing ben terrett - just so i can hear you both bickering at one another: it’d be hilarious!
but more seriously, how about ian rogers from topspin/fistfulayen/ex-yahoo about the business of music and what brands can learn from the “consumer lead” digitised implosion of the music industry as we knew it (and then you could use blip as research! yeah..)

Seb - excellent suggestions there young man
Lauren - I think I rather do a face to face with that young Terrent chap (I don’t trust the man). Maybe I should get myself over to London with a tape recorder and a microphone. Maybe.
Ian Rogers is a VERY good suggestion (if any of you don’t know him, get yourself over to fistfulayen sharpish).

what about the interview with Faris?
August 28th, 2008 at 5:06 pm
Ah, young Michael you are quite right. I have just sent Faris an email, with a request to redo.

A date has been agreed with Faris. That interview will happen (again).
Good evening.
