Meat Water and the great British kitchen.

Marcus Brown

One of the things you get used to when you’re British and living in Germany are the constant requests to define and explain just what makes British Food the genius that it is. These requests, (loosely camouflaged as a basic desire to improve the incumbent kitchen but it’s obviously jealously) happen daily and after 15 years I’m slowly running out of things to say. I’m running out of words to describe just what makes British food great.

Thank heavens for Krautkrämers “Meat Water

That’s right, “fish & chips” in a bottle. It’s a little bit of home from home and although it’s blue (which is obviously some kind of nod in the direction of the current political climate in the country of my birth) it should help explain why British food is simply the best.

Guten Appetite!

With the greatest of thanks to the Chimpmesiter for pointing us in the right direction.

If you think that others might been interested in this would you be so kind as to Stumble it?

  1. I quite like the ‘footnote’ on the bottle. Makes we want to tuck in…

  2. And then there was this other company that sold barbecue soda, salmon soda and other delicious stuff. Can’t remember the name.

  3. The great thing about British cuisine is that you can have your lamb and your toothpaste all in one course. Just pick up a hair from your dish, floss, and you’re all set.

  4. Ben

    You’re at 141 now.

  5. Nothing new!

In Germany we have Wurstwasser since many many years ;-)
