* Now that’s what I call iPod singing – volume 1

Posted on May 2nd, 2008 by The Shop Keeper. Filed under The Kaiser.

It was labour day here in Germany yesterday and as I don’t tend to set fire to rubbish bins and the like, I had a day off painting the walls of the old palace. We’re waiting for Deutsche Telekom to turn on the Internet in the new palace so I missed this excellent piece of iPod singing over at Werbeblogger (or weirdy – blogger as Ben calls it).

Watch on youtube.

An excellent piece of iPod singing action I’m sure you’ll agree. Well done Patrick.

Rob Campbell (an excellent iPod singer) left a rather splendid suggestion in the comments of Wednesday’s post, suggesting that we should start compiling something along the lines of a “Now that what I call iPod singing” volume/series thingy-ma-jigg and that we should maybe do genres. I like this idea very much.

So what should we start with first? Rock? Country? Punk? Opera? Personally I think the 80’s where delightful and would love to see Sir Martin have a go at “Her name was Rio” by Duran Duran.

What do you think? What should we do?

    Wouldn’t Sir Martin do “Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It’s Off To Work We Go”?

    I think Country & Western would be suitably car crash - though as I don’t know any, maybe I should suggest ‘The Songs Of Queen’?

  2. The Kaiser Says:

    The songs of queen could be gahstly. What a brilliant suggestion.
